A fresh take on an old standard. The sax is a good 'fit' for the song. A really enjoyable version.

I'm so glad you liked it, Mollie! You know, I've been thinking lately about how much the late Joe Dobbs would have absolutely loved Veezy's sax and especially on this tune. It was Joe who first urged us to learn "Fly Me to the Moon," and originally we did it as an instrumental, with Joe leading the way. That was before Michelle stepped up with the vocals. Here's an early Flood rendition of the song (from our 2011 "Wade in the Water" album with Joe Dobbs and Jacob Scarr on the solos). Honestly, it seems a little staid, compared to where Veezy and Danny are taking the song now:

Fly Me To The Moon...sounds great! As always. You need to tour the UK...

Aw, thank you, dear friend!

And a UK tour! Hmmmm, from your lips to God's ears. And if not God's, at least those of a benevolent, eclectic music-loving oligarch who might want to finance such a dream! :)

Ha, ha, ha...from my lips to God's ears. If only Charles. There's a few things I'd tell him about. Now...let's find that elusive oligarch before they become extinct too...
