Aw, Sara, I'm SO GLAD you liked that. It was a pretty sweet moment at the rehearsal when it was recorded. :)
Okay, for starters, there's a lot more like that where that came from. If you didn't catch it earlier, be sure to take a listen to the previous podcast:
Meanwhile, about saving a list of favorites, I don't know what web browser you're using, but each of them has a way to bookmark pages so you can return to a particular one later. Try visiting the page of the song you like and using your browser's bookmark feature to save it. You should be able to give the bookmark a name when you save it. See if that gives you want you want.
Thanks, Colin, as always for those kind words, sir!
By the way, I don't if you've looked at any of our earlier posts here, but this one from a few months ago called "Rocking Heritage Station" has some cool videos of the band in action at a recent gig:
Of particular interest perhaps is the second vid in the batch, which records, among other things, the moment that Sam got his field promotion as The Flood's official Dance Cop! :)
Oh, yes! "Dink's Song" has been on our minds a lot lately. I absolutely loved when it popped up in the Coen Brothers' "Inside Llewyn Davis" a few years ago. At that point, I hadn't thought about the song in years, but since then it's been a regular at the jam sessions, especially now that Veezy Coffman has brought her innovations to it. So, here's yet another earlier entry from the newsletter that might be of interest:
It features "Dink's Song" with solos by Veezy, Doug and Sam and Randy doing the lead vocals. (Incidentally, Randy, who this week celebrates his 10th anniversary with us, will be featured in the next newsletter, which I expect to upload tomorrow.)
Ah, Mollie! Thank you so much for those kind words. You've nailed it -- Veezy's sax rocks us to the core. And with her solos, I heard things in that tune I've never heard before.
Incidentally, you might enjoy comparing that version with this one from a dozen years ago. This summer 2010 recording has solos by Jacob Scarr, Joe Dobbs, Dave Peyton and Doug Chaffin.
You know, with Brother Peyton wrapping it up on kazoo, it's got more of a jug band feel, but "Trouble In Mind" is a very tolerate, accommodating tune. :)
this was great! One more time! is there a way that I can keep a list of favorite?

Same sort of tune, I think.
Also, let me suggest you check out our "Blues Channel" on Radio Floodango with this link:

Great! Meanwhile, don't miss today's new issue. We're celebrating Randy Hamilton's joining the band exactly 10 years ago today!

More great harmonica from Sam and the sax from Veezy sounds so good. Great to hear The Flood, as always. Thanks Charles.

A blues standard that is given a fresh treatment by The Flood. Veezy's sax is a great addition to the song, and Charlie nails the vocals.
