Warm, Fun Night at Bahnhof
#603 / Video Extra
Thursday was a wet, chilly night in Huntington, but inside Bahnhof WVrsthaus & Biergarten, The Flood settled down in a warm circle of old and new friends. No wonder everybody loves this spot, the coolest venue in town.
It’s always a joy when something on the band’s set list inspires our buddies “The Dancin’ Docs” — Bonnie Lawrence and Clayton Brooks — up on the floor.
And so many others in the extended Family Flood also made the scene. Andrea and Scott Austin were on hand, as were Sharon Pressman and Dewey Frye, and the Nuckols, St. Clair and Cox clans.
And we were especially honored that the folks in Wheelhouse, one of the region’s hottest new bands, took time out from their busy schedule to come by for a little Floodifying.
Pamela Bowen was ringside to video a few of the tunes. Here’s a 10-minute sample of the evening. And of course, if you’d like to read the back stories on any of the songs, we gotcha covered. Just click a link below for the relevant Flood Watch backgrounder from the archives:
