More Recognition for “These Boys”

“These Boys,” Randy Yohe’s award-winning documentary about The Flood, has received more love from France, named an official selection of ARFF Paris // International Film Festival.
Known as the “Around Films International Festival,” it is an independent annual gathering with four major editions: Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and Barcelona. They present feature films, documentaries, shorts, commercials, music videos, animations, student films, TV series, new media fashion films and audible creations as an IMDb award listing qualifier.
Films are viewed by an international community and winners, to be announced in Paris later this month, are chosen by the jury of film professionals.
Love from Paris
This is the second French honor for “These Boys.” As reported earlier, the first recognition the documentary received was The Cine Paris Film Festival honoring Yohe as best director.
In addition to Cine Paris’s honor, the film has received additional recognition. For instance:
The East Village New York Film Festival made the film as its January selection for “Best Feature Documentary.”
Texas’s Austin International Art Festival selected the film as a semi-finalist.
The Appalachian Film Festival screened the documentary as the featured film on the opening night.
Right now “These Boys” is working its way through film festivals like these, but we look forward to sharing the completed film with everyone later this year. We’ll keep you posted.
